BMA Walk A Mile In My Dreams Exhibit

June 30, 2024
11:00 am

To commemorate Juneteenth, the Standing for Racial Justice Committee has organized a group visit to the Baltimore Museum of Art exhibit of Joyce J. Scott: Walk a Mile in My Dreams. BMA describes her work: Best known for her virtuosic use of beads and glass, Joyce J. Scott’s works across all media beguile viewers with beauty and humor while confronting racism, sexism, ecological devastation, and complex family dynamics.

We will meet at the museum and take a self-guided tour of the exhibit together.
There is a cost of $12 per person. Registration in advance is required by June 26th.
If you are a member of BMA, you can visit the exhibit at no charge; if you’d like to join our group, please order your own ticket for the exhibit at the date and time of our visit.
